Synopsis
Clásica tragedia griega que se desarrolla en el barrio de San Isidro, meca de los prostíbulos habaneros de principio de siglo, entre chulos y santeros. Un ritual donde desborda la sexualidad y la sangre. Zona del infierno, un mundo poblado de mujeres y hombres que adoran a un dios semejante y que como semejante, tiene la facultad de morir. Juego entre la ilusión y realidad en que se debate el destino de un hombre que comete el pecado de sentirse deseado y desear a otro ser inferior. Clásico del teatro cubano-La obra será en español.
A turn of the century passionate story that develops in the town of San Isidro, mecca of brothels, prostitutes, pimps and santeros. A ritual where power, sexuality and blood overflows. A game between illusion and reality in which the destiny of a man is debated when he commits the sin to fall in love with a prostitute. Cuban Period Piece. The play will be in Spanish.
