Radio Purgatory Tickets and Information
Synopsis
Murder! Mayhem! Live Music! TheaterThe's Radio Purgatory is a multi-disciplinary theatrical piece featuring the radio aesthetic of the 1930s and 1940s.
Intertwining three different radio plays -- a mystery, a romance and a crime story - the show features video, slapstick sequences, shadow play and live music. The characters seek to undermine each other with the ultimate goal of being released from the making of the plays.
The music is composed and arranged by Aldo Perez and his venerated NYC group The Renaldo The Ensemble, who also double as the performers.
To be put on the list for a show or to receive a review copy of The Renaldo The Ensemble's debut album Why Are You? contact Wagner at Crank It! PR, crankitpr@gmail.com.

Review: RE:Mindblowing by OV15383405
Just saw the October 9th show. Amazing. If you can get tickets and, by the way, the tickets are printed on fake cigarettes, which is baba cool, youll be treated to a blend of film and live dramatic action that bring the two media together effectively and hilariously.
Its full of wild flights of lyric delight and stunning surreal humor and horror. The music is powerful and strange and all instruments are played by the actors themselves.
You cannot imagine what a ridiculously fulfilling dramatic experience this is. Whatever expectations you have, the TheatreThe ensemble will twist them, rearrange them, surpass them, and toss them out into the rainy street. If you are even thinking about going, do not wait.
