Synopsis

The "Three Cantors" set the stage for a lively celebration of Jewish and Secular music in Queensborough Salutes Israel: A Cantorial Show. Classically trained Cantor Victor Beck is no stranger to Carnegie Hall and calls Temple B'nai Sholom in Rockville Centre his "home." Cantor Leslie Rimer was singing on Hungarian Radio by age 7 and just celebrated his 26th year at the Madison Jewish Center in Brooklyn. Cantor William Wood is a lyric baritone, graduate of Columbia University and Hebrew Union College, tours regularly throughout Israel and officiates at the Central Synagogue of Nassau County. These three charismatic gentlemen perform Yiddish, Liturgy, Pop and Broadway classics.
