Ars Nova presents Planet Banana (A Rock 'N' Roll Love Story), featuring live music by The Daniel Jodocy Trio.
The internationally acclaimed Planet Banana stars Clarke McFarlane and Brazilian chanteuse Silvia Machete in a romantic evening of European-style fun, complete with aerial stunts, musical mayhem and burning hot romance. As the lovers explore their passion, the evening builds to a climactic dance party filled with Planet Banana cocktails and audience celebration.
Directed by Virginia Scott, this whimsical evening of theater follows a story of love and intrigue in a surreal jazz lounge called Heaven, where a singer meets her match in a smooth doctor. Jealousy sparks a chain of events that climaxes in a deadly duel for her love.
Special added performances on Wednesday, March 23 and March 30 at 8 PM.
