Workshop Theater Company presents:
Pineapple & Henry
Pineapple & Henry Tickets and Information
Synopsis
Pineapple & Henry tells the story of a baker at a wholesale food store in Brooklyn who, trying to build a new life for herself, is torn between a rough truck driver who sells meats and a charming Ukrainian architect who speaks little English. 75 years earlier the same building was known as Al's Place, a jazz age speakeasy with an ice cream parlor front, where a dancing barmaid comes between the owner, his brother, and their handsome young partner. In these stories, in two different time periods, we see love clashing with life goals and how ensuing battles for control forever change lives on the corner of Pineapple & Henry.
