Synopsis

Discovered in a trunk in 2000 and published in 2003 as the collection Mr. Paradise, these four plays have never been produced in New York. Five others from this collection were produced at MTC two seasons ago. Tennessee Williams called these plays his "firecrackers on a rope."

Pieces of Paradise includes the plays The Municipal Abbatoir, The Palooka, These Are the Stairs You Gotta Watch, and Mister Paradise.
