A story of love, loss, and the survival of self, Of Loss and Grace takes you through the lives of Grace, Joel, and Kai. Grace, who has AIDS, develops a relationship with Joel, a co-worker. Joel's steadfastness complements Grace's feistiness, and despite her illess the two marry and have a child, Kai.
Soon after Kai is born, Grace loses Joel, and is ready to give up on life. Only the precocious Kai is able to keep her mother going through her increasing bouts of depression and illness, with some surprising help.
No evening performance on Sunday, December 18.
