Synopsis

As Arc Duo, flutist Heather Holden and guitarist Bradley Colten are winners of Artists International's 2003 Chamber Music Award and 2005 Outstanding Alumni Winners Award. They have been hailed as "a perfect ensemble" by New York Concert Review. Dedicated to the music of the 20th and 21st centuries, they have worked with such leading contemporary composers as Ned Rorem and Joan Tower and have premiered numerous works. Among their commissions is a new work by Roland Dyens, "Traveling Sonata," which they perform at this concert.
