Most Happy kicks off the Unofficial New York Yale Cabaret (UNYYC)'s inaugural season, presenting innovative, risk-taking theatre with something completely different every month in a fun environment serving Food and Drinks. Each project is selected from submissions by Yale School of Drama graduates across the country. UNYYC at Bennigans. Not What U Expect.
Most Happy is written and directed by George Tynan Crowley. A deliciously subversive and thought-provoking drama set in Henry VIII's Tudor Court where Anne Boleyn, her sister Mary, and the poet Thomas Wyatt conspire to topple the wave of Catholic imperialism. A sexy, proto-feminist romance based on real historical events. Eight performances only!
Featuring: period costumes, compelling story telling, subtlely shaded performances.
Dinner and Drinks served. NO MINIMUMS! Come early to enjoy off-the-wall, interactive shows and be a part of UNYYC's community! Door opens for dinner an hour and a half before the show.
