Men Are Dogs is a hilarious comedy about women in group therapy. Cecelia is a successful psychologist who, among many sessions, runs a support group for single and divorced women. She's got troubles of her own, but it's her ensemble of neurotic patients who provide the action when a male volunteer role-player becomes the hapless victim of their inconsiderable ire. In the meantime, Cecelia has a meddling mom who's trying to set her up with the local postal delivery man.
What the critics said:
"...a sweet sitcom about the life of a woman psychologist...It's group therapy with a women's support group, and the comedy sections work the best..." -Richmond Shephard - Performing Arts Insider.
"Audiences are doubling up with laughter." - Michael Kaabe, Asbury Park Press
"Simonelli displays an adept comic touch...the mock therapy sessions are worth the price of admission." -Phil Dorian, Two River Times
