In his uproarious lament about the tragedy of being born in the wrong era, rising star Matt Sigl, winner of the 2006 MAC Award for Best Male Debut, hilariously bemoans his own hard luck at coming into the world too late to witness the comedy of legends like Paul Lynde, Dick Van Dyke, or Robert Morse or to experience the one and only Judy Garland live at Carnegie Hall. In Matt Sigl: Unstuck in Time, Sigl mixes some of the classic songs of Coward, Gershwin and Berlin with his own special brand of humor and a taste for the outrageous.
This marks the show's debut at Ars Nova for a special one-night-only event, featuring special guest stars Kiera O'Neil, Molly Pope, Courtney Glass, and Kate Pazakis.
The show was written and conceived by Matt Sigl and Adam Rosen. Direction by Ryan J. Davis. Musical direction and piano accompaniment provided by Brian Nash.
