Synopsis
It's gonna be one crazy night of all Kurt Weill tunes, under a neon green shimmering moon! The ballads of pimps, the lament of whores, the anger of chambermaids, and everything else that makes life worth living.
Since their first performance in November 2002, The Main Squeeze Orchestra has achieved wild popularity as well as critical acclaim within the accordion community. Transcending all dorky stereotypes, The Orchestra has developed a rowdy yet sophisticated following, proving the power of the instrument and the power of one man's dream to conduct 18 women in pigtails.
"The Main Squeeze Orchestra ...overflows the scales of feminine virtue in the name of song. More sugar cube than vegan icing, they do cabaret and camp along with all the bellows' best, while dressed, coiffed, and rehearsed like some Central European Berry Gordy fantasy." --- Village Voice Best of 2005 NYC Listing
