Synopsis

A door creaks open. Heavy footsteps approach. Something brushes by you, but what could it be? Thrill to a selection of short stories by masters of suspense like Edgar Allen Poe, Ray Bradbury, and Arch Obler in Lights Out.

Working on a dark and mostly barren stage, actors at music stands and a sound effects artist at his props table/mixing board prove that the best scares are all in your head! Enjoy the fun and chills of old-time radio dramas combined with modern FX technology.

Lights Out is presented as part of the Lively Arts Series at Kingsborough.
