KT Sullivan
KT Sullivan Tickets and Information
Synopsis
You won't see KT Sullivan dashing around New York Streets in jeans, a sweatshirt and her hair in curlers. This movie-star blonde with a luscious soprano voice and teasing big green eyes is reminiscent of a glamour that used to be. Think Lana Turner beauty with the wit of Mae West and a sliver of Monroe. The difference is that she can sing like... well, like KT Sullivan, with vocal colors ranging from soprano to belting to purring. KT is a woman of today, with firm goals and boundless energy. She headlines regularly at the Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel, has performed on and off-Broadway, and travels around the world and around the country. On November 27, 1999, KT married Steve Downey in a New York City marriage of the year. The dropdead flair and sweet smile, flashy retort, and sexy playfulness with audience members all bow to definitive renditions she has given to songs including a yearning, "Fly Me To The Moon" and a teasing, "Tico Tico."
