Synopsis

Jane Eyre is considered one of the greatest love stories of English literature. Published as a novel in 1847, it has inspired at least nine other novels and more than 20 films. In this new theatrical adaptation by N.G. McClernan, the story opens with Rochester's plaintive cry for his beloved Jane and unfolds in flashbacks to reveal the heroine's transformation from a mistreated little girl into a woman in control of her own destiny. True to the original work, Jane Eyre illuminates the timeless story of the lovers as they struggle to overcome fate.

Review: A lovely theatre experience by cindylee04

We saw "Jane Eyre" recently. The performances were excellent. Greg Oliver Bodine was quite moving as Mr Rochester. Nat Cassidys portrayal of St. John Rivers was also very effective. Our party was made up of ages 13 to 60 plus and we all enjoyed the play.
