Synopsis

An uproarious musical comedy set during Broadway's Golden Age of the 1950's! Follow the adventures of an unsuccessful composer / lyricist team as they are kidnapped by the KGB and taken to the USSR to ghost-write communist propaganda musicals. Will they choose fame or freedom? Don't miss this latest project from Prospect's resident writer Peter Mills, author of last season's The Pursuit of Persephone, in collaboration with Kleban Award winner Susan DiLallo and 2005 Jonathan Larson Award winner Stephen Weiner.

Take advantage of Dinner and a Show April 22!
Enjoy a relaxed dinner before the show with fellow theater-goers, as well as with Prospect's founding members. In addition, members of the show's creative team will be present to answer questions about the process of creating Iron Curtain. A $50 Patron Dinner ticket covers a prix-fixe three-course meal (salad, entrée, and dessert / coffee), and a glass of wine with dinner (Admission valued at $15, dinner at $35). Additionally, patron dinner participants will receive reserved, prime seating at the performance with their group, so there's no need to worry about rushing to the theater to get good seats. Dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Fez Lounge (upstairs at Time Cafe at 85th and Broadway) prior to the 8:00 p.m. performance.
