Synopsis

Based upon an H.G. Wells novel about a shop assistant (Tommy Steele) who finds that money cannot buy happiness, Half a Sixpence was a hit in London and on Broadway. Songs include "All in the Cause of Economy," "She's Too Far Above Me," "If the Rain's Got to Fall," "Money to Burn," and "Flash, Bang, Wallop!"
