Synopsis


Gun Play is a live action videogame/performance inspired by the American love of guns and gun violence. More than a year in development, the show recreates the world of 3d first person shooter videogames using large scale video projection and real time video processing. Featuring appearances by rock star/gun nut Ted Nugent, gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson, Doom/Quake creator John Carmack, among others. Direction, video design & Doom 3 modding by Brian Rogers. Created and performed by Kanako Hiyama, Mikeah Ernest Jennings, Sheila Lewandowski, Elizabeth Ward, and Paula Wilson.

Additional performances: Sunday, January 15 at 7pm; Monday, January 16 at 7pm

Box Office Hours: 1 hour prior to performance

Not appropriate for young children.
