Five Boroughs, a musical comedy, is the story of five very different New Yorkers discovering what they have in common. Stacey (a thirty- something, neurotic, jewish lesbian from Manhattan), Monty (a three card monty dealer from the Bronx), Ahkeel (a jolly Pakistani cab driver from Queens), Mike (an Italian "wiseguy" from Brooklyn) and Amber (an Irish exotic dancer from Staten Island) are symbolic of the many people and cultures that make up the city. Through music, laughter, and tears, the five unknowingly answer New York's most often asked question...Why do people live here?
