Synopsis

A single Mum and her two artistically-troubled daughters - Lily, age 20 and Frarajaca, age 18 - live in faded decadence and isolation off the coast of ... somewhere. In their rambling home, tension builds as Lily accepts that she will finally have to be artificially inseminated with the deceased Rudolf Nureyev's frozen sperm to please her mother. Frara works on staging a "beautiful gangbang" at the upcoming Art Fair, and Mum doesn't want to deal with anymore goddamn idiots. Frara's four best friends - a brash gang of overeducated Art Girls - help plan for the big Fair. Set over several days in the family's house, Family is about the disturbing, hilarious and complicated core of unconditional love. And trying to make art.
