Synopsis

Kelly Van Zile and Joint-ed Stock Theatre Alliance presents Election Day, a new musical.

Live and center stage, a hilarious and exciting look at a presidential election that polarizes the nation. (Any resemblance to current events is completely coincidental). In this brand new musical, liberal president Elliott Goodrich runs for re-election against the charismatic but dim-witted Governor Nathan Burke of Wyoming. Follow the campaign trail with the aggressive first lady, her rebellious first son, the tempting young intern, an egotistical network anchor, and a crazed genius CEO as they scamper toward Election Day. And that's not everyone, the advice of dead presidents Warren G. Harding, James Knox Polk and William Henry Harrison will have you laughing hysterically and dancing in the aisles! Directed by Laurie Sales. Book and Lyrics by Alex Goldberg. Music and Lyrics by Joel Henry Stein. Choreographed by Christine O'Grady.
