The 53rd Annual Drama Desk Awards will be held on Sunday, May 18. The event will be webcast LIVE by TheaterMania.com. The organization of theater critics, writers and editors honors excellence in all areas of New York theatre, including Broadway, Off Broadway, Off Off Broadway and not-for-profit theater.

Nominations for the Drama Desk Awards reflecting the 2007/2008 New York theater season will be announced on Monday morning, April 28, at the New York Friars Club. The Drama Desk Awards Nominees Cocktail Reception will be held on Thursday, May 1, 4:00 to 7:00 PM, at Arte Café, 106 West 73rd Street, between Broadway and Columbus Avenues.
Each $225.00 Standard Ticket includes the awards ceremony and red carpet which begins at 8:00pm. Each $800 Gold Ticket includes Premium Seats at the awards ceremony, admittance to the exclusive star-studded VIP pre-show reception at the Hawaiian Tropic Zone and post-show reception at John's Pizzeria of Times Square, as well as all transportation between VIP receptions and concert hall courtesy of Gray Line/NY Sightseeing.
