Synopsis

The outrageous "Mouth of the South," Martha Mitchell, relives how she brought down the Nixon administration in a fascinating one-woman show. Dirty Tricks, by John Jeter, is directed by Margaret Whitton and features two-time Tony Award winner Judith Ivey.

Set on the eve of Nixon's resignation -- thirty years ago this August -- this solo play in one act vividly relives the story of Martha Mitchell, the larger-than-life estranged wife of Attorney General John Mitchell, who took on President Nixon and helped to bring down the administration that tried to silence her.
