Dina Martina's Yule Log
Dina Martina's Yule Log Tickets and Information
Synopsis
Acclaimed Seattle performance artist Dina Martina makes a highly anticipated return to New York with Dina Martina's Yule Log, which - like all of Martina's surreal shows - is a unique night of entertainment that assaults the senses. Her unforgettable blend of peculiar music, stupefying comedy and bizarre performance has been described as "a train wreck in heels," "like Vegas on crack" and "one of the best nightmares you'll ever have."
Dina Martina was conceived in 1989 by Seattle performer Grady West, who developed the hilariously unwitting character into a multi-faceted persona.
In 1997, West was nominated for a Stranger Fringe Theater Award for best solo show and in 1999 and 2004 he received Footlight Awards from The Seattle Times. This past August, Martina made her Wigstock debut with a mesmerizing rendition of "The Devil Went Down to Georgia."
There are no performances December 5 & 6.
"A blend of song, dance, comedy and prayer that will make you piss your pants. Adult underpants suggested." -- The Village Voice
"Performance art never looked so good!" -- Whoopi Goldberg
