Synopsis

Transport Group presents the world premiere musical Crossing Brooklyn, featuring music by Jenny Giering, with book and lyrics by Laura Harrington. Jack Cummings III directs.

In Crossing Brooklyn, Des and AJ are young, idealistic, and in love. Both public school teachers and both bent on changing the world, one kid at a time. Their lives are full of promise and endless possibility until Des begins to unravel. Splitting apart under the strain, Des and AJ struggle to find their way back to each other. The lessons they learn, through the children they meet, will change them forever.

Transport Group is the winner of a special 2007 Drama Desk Award.
