Synopsis

The Irish Arts Center presents the New York premiere of Donal O'Kelly's acclaimed solo piece Catalpa.

The play, which features live musical accompaniment by Trevor Knight, is based on the true story of the daring ship rescue of six Irish prisoners in 1875, and takes audiences on a journey from New Bedford, Massachusetts to Fermantle, Australia to New York City.
