Synopsis

Bread and Circus 3099 is a futuristic drama about two adventurers who break away from their modern assigned daily lives in the year 3099. Written in a character-driven, intelligent, farcical style, it is flavored with clever use of multiple video projections and song. Gift (Jack Shamblin), a karma worker, and Splendor (Nicole Zaray), an entertainment mechanic, live in a province called The Big World, a flourishing society where disease and misfortune have been eradicated. They decide to defy evolution and travel to a place of diverse tribal groups, nomads, and merging and mutating bio-spheres. Away from societal controls, the real battle begins: Gift and Splendor's Naivete prevents them from handling the erratic scenarios of the new world they have discovered.
