Synopsis


POZ presents Bacharach to the Future, a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS featuring the music of Burt Bacharach, directed by Bruce Kimmel, with musical direction by Alex Rybeck.

The show features performances by Katie Adams, Beth Ann Bonner, Kerry Butler, Liz Callaway, Franc D'Ambrosio, Ted Detweiler, Kevin Earley, Natalie Hiatt, Christian Hoff, Christopher Jackson, Lauren Kennedy, Ilene Kristen, Sherri Lewis, Jill O'Hara, Billy Porter, Linda Purl, Julie Reiber, Michael Rupert, Tomy Roberts, Kevin Spirtas, Matt Walton, and Pierce Wegener.

Bacharach co-wrote the Broadway musical Promises, Promises, along with dozens of hit pop songs and movie themes including "That's What Friends Are For," "Do You Know the Way to San Jose," "Close to You," and "Alfie."
