Synopsis

Any 1 Man is a one-man show written by George A. Peters II & Brandon F. Johnson. Wesley, a hopeful dancer and artist, feels forced to fit into a gender construction of masculinity that doesn't include him. Bishop, a wise beggar, has lost his way on his road to success, and finds himself "missing." Together their voices mix to tell the story of any one man's journey to find his masculinity, though he's not exactly clear what that means.

"Any 1 Man is an event! Like a young fiery Whoopi Goldberg, George Peters is a wunderkind: an actor that will make you laugh, a comedian that will make you cry in the most powerful role we have seen for a black male actor since Top Dog Underdog..." --The Amsterdam News

"Black men face a unique set of challenges in America today. You are engaging difficult issues head-on, and I commend you for that." - Senator Barack Obama, D-IL
