Synopsis

A Tony nominee for Best Play of 1983, Angels Fall strands six diverse characters in a tiny wayside chapel during a nuclear accident on the Navajo reservation in New Mexico. Each of them -- in one way or another -- is seeking "sanctuary." It's a theme that pervades the production, which takes place in the sanctuary of Church For All Nations, located at 417 West 57th Street. As helicopters circle and armed troopers guard the roadblocks, the veneer of civility cracks, and the travellers face their own mortality.

OffoffOnline calls the show "compelling, intimate...a moment of communion...a minor miracle".

Box Office Hours: 1 hour prior to curtain

Appropriate For Ages: 13 and up
