Synopsis
Embracing the bilingual culture of so many New Yorkers, ¡Sofrito! is a spicy blend of David Gonzalez's funny and physical storytelling, served up with the savory sounds of Larry Harlow and the Latin Legends band, the grand masters of Mambo and Salsa. Bring your appetite for fun, because nobody goes home hungry after indulging in this zesty blend of musica caliente and fascinating folklore from Puerto Rico, Cuba and the Bronx. Part theater, part Latin big-band concert, and part dance party, this unique celebration will, according to The New York Times, "bring the whole family to their feet!"
Special interactive "KidsClub" post-performance workshop available. Space is limited, advance reservation is required and can be made when purchasing tickets for the performance.
