Synopsis

A Yellow Butterfly Called Sphinx, by French playwright Christian Palustran, centers on a forbidden, secret relationship between a teacher and her student and the disintegration of trust through gang cruelty and betrayal. This collection of letters between the student and teacher exposes their need for love and finally how this desire brings both of their worlds crashing down. Amanda Shank directs.
