Synopsis

A Night at the Theatre: An Evening of Two One-Act Plays.

'dentity Crisis
J. Amber Petree stars as Edith, Nora Sheehan as Jane, and Albert Gomez as Robert. Additional cast includes, Bettina Niederman and Jeremy Wade.

It's Just Coffee
Nikki Dinki, Bettina Niederman, Jessica Silver, Michelle Posner, Stella-Monica Mpande, Heidi Jackson, Megan O'Leary star as Baristas. Additional cast includes Mike Eisenstein, John Saponaro and Jamaal Stone as Customers.

The first play of the night, It's Just Coffee takes place at Doubleshots Coffee, a multinational coffee chain, lead by a cast of passionate baristas and customers debating the ethical dilemma of the 'Ghetto Latte' - - a customized-by-the-customer coffee drink. Coffee is an energizing caffeine trip from beginning to end for corporation, consumer, and audience members alike.

The second one-act is a classic piece of modern theatre--'dentity Crisis. Written by Christopher Durang, the show is a fast-paced, dark comedy about a highly dysfunctional family centering on preteen Jane. Also includes mother Edith, portrayed as your not-so-stereotypical television mom. The family must deal with severe issues that beg the question 'if you had a secret to hide what would you do to keep it hidden?'

A Night at the Theatre promises to be fun, exciting, indulgent (and did we mention extremely fascinating and introspective) for those 17 and older.
