Synopsis

WAVE Productions in association with Lagniappe Entertainment presents A Mikvah, written and directed by Jeremy Bloom.

In A Mikvah, the protagonist Alan must confront his personal demons, including his Jewish upbringing and his identity as a single gay male in New York City. His life changes when he meets Jonathon Taylor Thomas, the washed-up child star from Home Improvement and The Lion King. As his relationship with JTT develops, Alan's past comes back to haunt him. His childhood friend (and first crush) Ben has just died, and as Alan deals with the ramifications of Ben's death, we realize just how alive the past can seem at times.
