Synopsis

Partial Comfort Productions presents the 3rd Annual Battle of the Bards, a one-night-only theatrical competition pitting 7 of New York City's most electrifying emerging theater companies against each other in a stage-fight to the finish. Each company writes, casts and rehearses a world premiere one-act play in exactly two weeks! The plays are then performed by each of the seven participating companies and judged by a panel of celebrities and seasoned industry professionals and by the audience (that means YOU!).

Current participants include: Partial Comfort Productions, New Georges, Ma-Yi Theater Company, Youngblood, Vampire Cowboys, Electric Pear and Resonance Ensemble.

Event Judges: Sigourney Weaver, Josh Lucas, Adam Rapp, OBIE Award-winning director Jim Simpson, director Robert Woodruff, and David Cote (Time Out New York)

Box Office Hours:
6:30pm - 10:30pm

Under 21 Not Permitted
