Laura Linney, Elaine Stritch, et al. to Help Honor Eli Wallach and Anne Jackson at Love ‘N’ Courage Benefit

Veteran actors and real-life couple Eli Wallach and Anne Jackson will be honored at the annual Love ‘N’ Courage benefit. Charles Busch will host the event, which will be held at the National Arts Club on Monday, February 22.
Wallach and Jackson will perform, along with other guest participants including Academy Award nominated actress Laura Linney; playwright Romulus Linney; Tony Award-winning actresses Marian Seldes, Elaine Stritch, Tammy Grimes; Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham; Chuck Cooper and Terri White from the current Broadway revival of Finian’s Rainbow; actress Betsy von Furstenberg; composer Phoebe Legere; and tango dancers Daniel Fetecua-Soto and Anna Amadei. The event will also honor Martha Coigney, director of the International Theatre Institute.
The celebration will begin with cocktails at 6:30pm, dinner at 7pm, and performances at 8pm. Proceeds will benefit the Emerging Playwrights’ Program at Theater for the New City.
