Eric Bogosian, Michael Emerson, Carrie Preston, Martha Plimpton, et al. Set for Red Bull’s Revelation Reading Series

Updated casting has been announced for Red Bull Theatre’s 2009-2010 series of Revelation Readings, to be held on Monday nights at The Theatre at St. Clement’s.

Emmy Award wnner Michael Emerson and wife Carrie Preston will star in Thomas Heywood’s A Woman Killed with Kindness, directed by Kay Matschullat (December 28). The
cast will also include Mary Bacon, Jeff Biehl, Eric Hoffman, Matthew Rauch, Jeff Steitzer, Haynes Thigpen, Dominique Toney, and Geraint Wyn Davies.

In 2010, the offerings include Rauch and Jennifer Ikeda in Philip Massinger’s The Duke of Milan (January 11); Michael Urie in Albert Camus’ Caligula (January 25); Eric Bogosian and Michael Stuhlbarg in David Bar Katz’s Burning, Burning, Burning, Burning (February 8); Alfredo Narciso and Zabryna Guevera in Lope De Vega’s The Steward of the Duchess of Malfi (March 15); Francisca Faridany in Bertolt Brecht and W.H. Auden’s adaptation of The Duchess of Malfi (March 22); Peter Francis James in John Ford’s ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore (May 17); and Stuhlbarg and Martha Plimpton in David Rabe’s Gilgamesh, directed by Leigh Silverman (May 24). The series concludes with William Congreve’s comedy Love For Love, to be directed by Davis McCallum (June 14).
