 | | Natalie Toro | Additional guest stars have been announced for Glimpses of the Moon, which is playing an open-ended run on Monday nights at the Algonquin Hotel's Oak Room. The production is directed by Marc Bruni and choreographed by Denis Jones.
Natalie Toro will guest star December 8 and 15; Chuck Cooper will guest star on December 22 and 29; KT Sullivan will guest January 5 and 12, and Andrea Marcovicci will guest star on January 19 and 26.
The show is based on the novel by Edith Wharton and features book and lyrics by Taljei Levis and music by John Mercurio. It focuses on popular but penniless Suzy Branch who devises a scheme to marry her friend Nick Lansing and live off the wedding presents while they help find one another suitable millionaires. The plan works perfectly until they fall in love.
The regular cast includes Autumn Hurlbert, Jane Blass, Laura Jordan, Daren Kelly, and Glenn Peters.The creative team includes Ted LeFevre (scenic consultant), Lisa Zinni (costumes), and Richard Winkler (lighting). Matt Lutz will play the role of Nick in December; and Steven Plunkett will play the role in January.
Leslie Uggams, Robert Cuccioli, Gay Marshall, and Tom Wopat are scheduled to be guest stars in the future.
