Tony Award nominee Maureen Anderman will star in the Huntington Theatre Company's production of Wendy Wasserstein's Third, January 4-February 3.

The production will directed by Richard Seer. The cast will also include Halley Feiffer, Graham Hamilton, Jonathan McMurtry, and Robin Pearson Rose. The creative team includes Ralph Funicello (sets), Robert Morgan (costumes), Matthew Richards (lighting), and Bruce Ellman (sound).

Third concerns Laurie Jameson (Anderman), a feminist English professor at a prestigious university, who accuses one of her students, Woodson Bull III (Hamilton) of cheating. The play premiered at Lincoln Center's Mitzi Newhouse Theater shortly before Wasserstein's death.

Anderman received a Tony Award nomination for The Lady from Dubuque and also starred on Broadway in Seascape and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? She previously appeared at the Huntington in Rabbit Hole and The Sisters Rosensweig.
