Stage veterans Sigourney Weaver and John C. Reilly are joining Anne Heche and Ed Helms in the movie Cedar Rapids, according to a report in Variety.
Cedar Rapids centers on an insurance agent (Helms), who goes to an industry convention to try to save the jobs of his colleagues. Heche will portray a woman who befriends him. Weaver will play the man's former seventh-grade teacher.
Weaver will be seen later this year in James Cameron's Avatar and she also has finished work on the films You Again and Paul. Reilly is currently on screen in Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, and just completed filming of The Extra Man. Heche, who currently co-stars on HBO's Hung, is scheduled to appear opposite Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in The Other Guys.
