(© Dario Acosta) | The New York Festival of Song will present Fugitives, starring opera performers Joseph Kaiser and Kate Lindsey, at 8pm on Tuesday, November 18 at the Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Center. NYFOS' artistic director Steven Blier will be the evening's host and pianist.
The program focuses on composers who fled Europe during World War II, including Kurt Weill, Arnold Schonberg, and Erich Kornberg, and will include selections from the Broadway musicals Love Life and Knickerbocker Holiday.
