Former Hairspray star Kathy Brier will join Maya Days, Ellen Greene, Christine Pedi, and Marla Schaffel in A Broadway Diva Christmas at the Julia Miles Theater, November 23-December 31. In addition, Thommie Walsh has signed on as director of the show, which will open officially on December 4.

Produced by Tom D'Angora and Michael Duling, with musical direction by Brian Nash, the show will feature the divas performing some of the most popular holiday songs of all time. The cast also includes Natalie Joy Johnson, Tedi Marsh, Kate Pazakis, and Sally Shwab.

Brier played Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray on Broadway, and was seen Off-Broadway in Bat Boy: The Musical. She stars as Marcie Walsh on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live.

An original cast member of A Chorus Line, Thommie Walsh has won two Tony Awards for Best Choreography, for A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine and for My One and Only. He directed the Off-Broadway production of Lucky Stiff.

Days starred on Broadway in Aida and was recently seen Off-Broadway in Once Around the Sun. Greene is best known as the original Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors. Pedi starred for many years in Forbidden Broadway and appeared in the Roundabout Theatre Company revival of Little Me. Schaffel received a Tony Award nomination and a Drama Desk Award for her performance in the title role of Jane Eyre, and is currently touring as Eliza Doolitle in My Fair Lady.
