Tony-, Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated actor Patrick Wilson performs a duet with Mary McBride on her new album, Every Day Is a Holiday, singing the Christmas classic, "Do You Hear What I Hear." The album is scheduled for November 10 release on Bogan Records.
The album also features McBride's interpretations of traditional carols "Silent Night," "O Holy Night" and "O Come All Ye Faithful" as well as originals "Bring It On" and "Christmastime." In addition, there are versions of holiday songs by renowned singers and songwriters including Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," Louis Armstrong's "Cool Yule," Patty Griffin's "Oh Heavenly Day" and William Bell's "Every Day Will Be Like a Holiday."
Wilson received Tony nominations for his performances in Oklahoma! and The Full Monty. He received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for his role as Joe Pitt in HBO's adaptation of Angels in America. He most recently appeared on Broadway in All My Sons and his film work includes Watchmen.
McBride's previous albums include Everything Seemed Alright and By Any Other Name. She is currently writing the score for the new musical, The Nitpicker, to be directed by Tony-award winning director Scott Ellis.
