Stage and film star Liam Neeson will star opposite January Jones and Diane Kruger in the new film Unknown White Male, according to Variety. Jaume Collet-Serra will direct from a screenplay penned by Oliver Butcher, Stephen Cornwell, and Karl Gajdusek.

The paper reports that the film's story centers on a man who awakens from a coma to find that someone else has assumed his identity, and no one, including his wife (to be played by Jones), believes him. With the help of a young woman (to be played by Kruger), he sets out to prove who he is.

Neeson is also set to co-star opposite Russell Crowe and Elizabeth Banks in The Next Three Days, a new thriller to be directed by Paul Haggis, according to Variety. The film will also star Brian Dennehy, Lennie James, Olivia Wilde, Aisha Hinds, and Daniel Stern.

Neeson's Broadway credits include The Crucible and Anna Christie, both of which earned him Tony Award nominations, and The Judas Kiss. He will soon be seen in Chloe and was seen earlier this year in Taken.

City Center Encores! production of the classic George and Ira Gershwin is pleasingly zany, but lacks a little heart.
