Workshop Theater Company to Present Moonlight & Love Songs; Host Annual Benefit

Full casting has been announced for Workshop Theater Company's production of Scott C. Sickles' Moonlight & Love Songs, to run November 6-22. David Gautschy will direct.

In this romantic drama, lonely 45-year-old architect Harry Wallace meets and falls for Jim Bennett, a sexy young college student. But a shocking revelation about Jim causes their seemingly perfect motion picture romance to implode.

The cast will include Anne Fizzard, David M. Mead, Jeff Paul, Nicole Taylor, Ryan Tresser, and Jeff Woodman. Sickles' other plays include Hairdresser on Fire, Beautiful Noises, Intellectuals, murmers, and The Other Half.

In related the news, the Workshop will host a special benefit at 7pm on Monday, October 27 at the Zipper Factory. It will be hosted by Tony Award winner Bill Irwin, and will feature artists from the original Broadway production of Hair, including Andre DeShields, Heather MacRae, and Natalie Mosco, as well as members of the Public Theater's recent production of the show, including Darius Nichols, Megan Reinking, Kacie Sheik, and Will Swenson, along with other guest performers.
