(© Joseph Marzullo/WENN) | Ricky Gervais, John Pinette, and Bruce Springsteen and his wife Patti Scialfa will perform at Stand Up For Heroes: A Benefit for the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which will kick off the 2008 New York Comedy Festival at 8pm on Wednesday, November 5 at the Town Hall. The event will be hosted by Regis Philbin, and will feature a special appearance by Whoopi Goldberg as a guest auctioneer.
The Festival will take place November 5-9 in a variety of venues, including Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, the Apollo Theater, Caroline's on Broadway, the Hammerstein Ballroom, the Paley Center for Media, and the 92nd Street Y.
This year's roster of talent will include Roseanne Barr, Frank Caliendo, Louis C.K., Susie Essman, Craig Ferguson, Carlos Mencia, Joel McHale, Tracy Morgan, B.J. Novak, Brian Regan, Sarah Silverman, Katt Williams, and Lizz Winstead.
