Barbara Cook, Pat Cooper, Ervin Drake, and Euan Morton will be among the celebrities on hand for The 2008 Theatre Museum Awards, which will be presented at 6pm on Tuesday October 21 at its gala at the The Players Club. The evening will be directed by Tony Walton.
American radio and television personality Joe Franklin will be the recipient of The Theatre Museum's Career Achievement Award; film director and author Rick McKay will receive the Award of Excellence for Theatre History Preservation to an Individual; The Iowa-based Theatre Museum of Repertoire Americana will be presented the Award of Excellence for Theatre History Preservation to an Organization; and Five Towns College will receive the Award for Excellence in Theatre Arts Education.
