(© Joseph Marzullo/WENN) | Antonio Banderas, Harvey Fierstein, Nick Jonas, Idina Menzel, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Bernadette Peters, and Rosie's Broadway Kids will be among the performers heard on Broadway's Greatest Gifts: Carols for a Cure, Vol. 10, a two-CD set of holiday songs to be released on Saturday, October 25. Proceeds benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
The CDs feature both new recordings and those which have been culled from the collection over the past nine years, including numbers by the casts of The Sound of Music, Annie Get Your Gun and Nine.
The CD package also includes the cast of Billy Elliot singing Elton John's new song "Cold Christmas." Other current shows represented include Altar Boyz, Avenue Q, Grease, Gypsy, Hairspray, In the Heights, Jersey Boys, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Mamma Mia!, Mary Poppins, Monty Python's Spamalot, The Phantom of the Opera, Spring Awakening, South Pacific, A Tale of Two Cities, Wicked, and Young Frankenstein.
