The Tony Awards Administration Committee has announced the recipients of the 2007 Tony Honors for Excellence in Theater, which will be presented on Tuesday, October 30 at Tavern on the Green.
This year's recipients are dancer/choreographer Gemze De Lappe, wardrobe supervisor Alyce Gilbert, Neil Mazzella, the proprietor of Hudson Scenic Studios, and Seymour "Red" Press, who has served as musical coordinator or contractor in more than 58 Broadway productions.
The Tony Honors recognize contributions to the field of theatre for individuals and organizations that are not eligible in any of the established Tony categories.
