Tony Bennett, Roger Bart, Tituss Burgess, Nathan Gunn, et al. Set for Sing for Hope’s 2010 Gala

Glenn Seven Allen, Jennifer Aylmer, Roger Bart, Alyson Cambridge, Nathan Gunn, Janine LaManna, Kate Lindsey, and Michael Slattery are scheduled to perform at Sing for Hope’s 2010 gala, An American Songbook, to be held on October 14 at 583 Park Avenue. Tituss Burgess will host the event, which will raise money for the nonprofit service organization.

In addition to the entertainment, the evening will honor 15-time Grammy Award winner Tony Bennett, businessman and philanthropist Ronald Perelman, and Metropolitan Opera co-chairman and vice-chairman of the Board of Directors of Lincoln Center Ann Ziff. During the course of the benefit, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the honorees’ company and conversation over an intimate dinner.

Four pianos, all of which were used at Lincoln Center and which have been hand painted by renowned artist Sophie Matisse, along with the 2010 Sing for Hope Steinway Grand, autographed by Tony Bennett, will be auctioned.

Sing for Hope is an organization that that involves more than 600 professional artists – from classical musicians to photographers to Broadway performers – in volunteer service programs that benefit schools, hospitals, and communities.
